My kids are crazy
I am sitting here trying to blog, since I haven't for what seems like forever, listening to my two year old telling me "I seen the Hop, he's a rabbit. Him poops jelly beans for funny and goes really high! They bringa bring the guitar and go to the water! This is the dictionary. I read the dictionary, it has abc's and cars." He's right you know, he has seen the Hop, the movie Hop, about an Easter bunny that plays drums, jumps really high, and poops jelly beans. They, who bringa bring the guitar, are Alvin and the Chipmunks and they do go to the water in the most recent movie Chipwrecked. Also, my little Bubba loves reading the dictionary, and it has a page in it about cars. I love that he has hit an age where he remembers things more clearly, but I love the stories he comes up with even more. Recently we were going to dinner and he told us we were going to have monkey burgers and that hamburgers with cheese is a celebration. He's a real crack up and I can't wait to see where he goes with this.
Sweetie Pie has developed quite the little personality as well. The two of them really keep me on my toes, but I love every minute of it. I've started flash cards with her, just like we did with Bubba at this age, and she finds them just as funny. She gets all excited and talks a lot when we are working on the animals, though it could be because mommy makes funny noises while doing the animals. She's also old enough to start playing with some of her toys, when brother isn't looking, and loves a singing tea pot she got for Christmas. It's really cute and teaches numbers, shapes, and manners. She still isn't taking a bottle and is getting used to solids so it's a lot of mommy and Sweetie Pie because I need to be there to nurse her. It's not a problem, but it makes alone time impossible, and date time with Daddy difficult. We'll get there eventually, but prayers that she eases up and takes a bottle, or at least gets used to solids, would be nice.
Best of all is that my two little ones get along really well. They seem to genuinly like each others company, at least for now, and that fills my heart with joy. Sweetie Pie gets so excited when she hears or sees her brother, and Bubba loves teaching her about motorcycles and dinosaurs and drums.

Crazy Daisy Days!
It's only been a little over month since my last post, and I know for some bloggers that's an eternity between posts, but for me that's actually a pretty good accomplishment. Now that my kiddo's are napping a little more in sync I am hoping to keep up on this blog a little better. They are getting so big!
Bubba is currently playing his favorite shapes game on mommy's iPhone, as I can hear "touch the cresent" from across the room. Sweetie Pie is sleeping soundly in her nursery. She naps in there during the day and then sleeps in the bassinet in our room at night. We really need to get her moved into her nursery full time, as one good stretch in the bassinet and she is out of room in there! The nursery is all ready for her, I just need to clean off the chair in there that I will need for nursing, and get a monitor for her room. We have a video monitor in Bubba's room and I LOVE it. Especially now that he's old enough he may start trying to become an escape artist. Sweetie Pie just cries at the moment so a sound monitor will suffice for now, but eventually I want a video monitor for her too! It's just nice to be able to see what's going on in there.
I am finally getting the start up in my store that I wanted. I'm still getting used to the best search words and how to photograph my stuff properly. So far I only have 2 items up, but I did recieve an email about a custom order. A full baby set, carseat cover, nursing cover, and burp cloths! I am so very excited and can't wait to get started. I'm hoping it will help bring business, and a little extra cash into the house. I'm not asking to be some off the charts busy work at home mommy, but it would be nice to contribute a little something. Even if we just end up using it for spending cash or rainy day money. I am also waiting on an order from Ebay so I can get some Tutu's up in the shop as well. Still thinking of what I'm going to do for the little boy side of things... I was thinking superhero capes, or maybe bowties and suspenders. I am not completely sure.
The weight loss thing is still going well. Sweetie Pie is going through a growth spurt, which is normal at 3 months, but she's nursing more than usual which means I'm hungrier than usual, also normal. I feel like I'm too hungry and snacking all the time, but I'm not gaining so at least I know I'm keeping things in moderation. Now that my shoulder is feeling better I can get back to regular workouts and hopefully between that and the extra nursing I can drop some more weight. I'll tell you, there are a lot of benefits to breast feeding your baby, A LOT, but weight loss may be one of my favorites!
I know I haven't posted measurements or weight yet. I can't find my tape measure at the moment but as soon as I do I'll get that info up. As for my weight, at my last weigh in last week I was at 237, not great, but not horrible. I put 4 pounds back on at Christmas, but hey 4 pounds at Christmas? That is nothing compared to past years. Plus with all the working out I've been doing, and toddler chasing, I am only about a pound more than I was before Christmas so over all I'm doing well. I'm officially down to a size 20, and my goal is to be back down to the 12/14 size I was when I met my hubby. Not super skinny, but not heavier like I am now. Every little bit is encouraging, and let me tell you, the greatest motivator I have is my Bubba. He loves watching me do the Wii Fit game, the Kung Fu aerobics are his favorite, and he likes to do Yoga with me. Everyday he asks to "do exersizing" with me, and I love it. He holds me acountable to my goal and makes working out fun, because it's something we can do together.
Another year has passed for me and I turned 29 on January 22. It was a nice birthday. Dinner out with my hubby and his family to celebrate his dad's birthday on the 20th and mine. Everyone but K was able to be there (she's at college in Irvine, so it's a bit of a drive for a birthday dinner) so that was great because between all our schedules that is tough to do! Then on my birthday I got 2 really pretty new shirts from my hubby and the She and Him Christmas CD from Bubba and Sweetie Pie! Then once my dad was home from being TDY in Utah we had my birthday dinner with my family. Great night with lots of joking and yummy Kalbi Ribs for dinner, and I got a new Red Lumberjack plaid Fleece Robe, a cool Doctors Head-in-a-Jar shirt, some Mickey Mouse serving bowls and platter (matches my kitchen) and a great book called Creating Characters with Character! The gift were nice, but the nicest part is always the opportunity to spend time with family (on both sides) as we are so busy.
Well since both my little ones are occupied at the moment I should probably go and get things ready to start on the big order I have. I am hoping to have it completed and ready for delivery (she's local) by Sunday. Probably wishful thinking on my part, but I like to be positive about these things!
Until next time. God Bless!
